Chris Zinkhon is a 2007 SS/P/3B with a 6'1'', 185 lb. frame from Springfield OH, who attends Clark-Shawnee. Zinkhon has a medium sized frame with a nice build. Defensively, Zinkhon moves well to the ball and has a bounce in his step. He has good footwork and agile feet. He has solid hands and fields the ball with average effort. At the plate, Zinkhon starts with a wide base and high hands. He uses a reverse stride Jeff Bagwell style and has a long front foot path. He uses a deep load with hand hitch. He has some length to his swing with bat speed. Presently Zinkhon is a contact hitter with line drive pop. Zinkhon pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with a medium arm action. His arm works and he has nice looseness to his arm. He uses tall and fall mechanics and has an online extended finish. He throws a 12/6 curveball with big break. He pitches with low effort and throws downhill. Zinkhon is a good student.
