Charles Grant-DeBose is a 2015 OF/RHP with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Torrance, CA who attends North Torrance. Medium frame, long lithe athletic build with room to fill. Good athlete, game speed plays up beyond level that 7.27 60 yard dash time would suggest, covered a lot of ground in center field during games and made a highlight reel diving catch in the right center field gap to rob extra bases. Hits with a tall upright stance and a high back elbow, good leverage to swing, good bat speed and quick hands, swing still has available tweaks to improve efficiency and contact rate and has shown significant improvement. All around developmental progress and projectable body suggest that what he is showing in terms of present tools is only the tip of the iceberg. Also pitched and ran fastball up to 83 mph from a low three quarters arm slot and a deep sweeping curveball.
