Cooper Bradford is a 2016 RHP with a 6-1 210 lb. frame from Oviedo, FL who attends Oviedo HS. Strong and thick build. Slow paced delivery, drop and drive mechanics, drives to the plate well, high 3/4's release point creates some angle but mostly a flat plane with his mechanics. Works 2 seam and 4 seam fastballs, 2 seamer at 85-87 gets nice running action to both sides of the plate, 4 seamer at 88-90 straighter but still has some life. Breaking ball varies between curveball and slider shapes, harder slider better pitch with good tilt and tight spin. Has a solid ability to throw strikes and give hitters different looks. Good student.
