Carter Morgan is a 2016 RHP/IF/OF with a 6-4 196 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends Olympic - Math Engineer Tech. Nice pitcher's build, long and lean with plenty of room to get stronger. Compact delivery with a compact arm action in back, good loose extension out front, high 3/4's arm slot, some energy at release and will get rushed in his delivery at times, stays on line and repeats his mechanics pretty well. Fastball topped out at 85 mph, mostly straight but throws lots of strikes with it. Change up was his best secondary pitch, maintains his arm speed well and gets some fading life. Developing curveball. Has two-way potential with outfield being his best position, arm really works well from the outfield with a longer arm action than he shows on the mound, 7.36 runner. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread and open stance with a long and loose swing, stays inside the ball and hits to left centerfield, will need to shorten up his approach but has some bat speed and plenty of leverage with adjustments.
