Jack Thode is a 2016 SS/1B with a 6-4 180 lb. frame from Cedar Falls, IA who attends Janesville HS. Tall angular build, lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, exaggerated inside swing approach, rotational hitter, flashed some strength at contact when the barrel gets out, has some wiry strength when he gets extended, just needs to get extended more and look to drive the ball, has the tools to do it. 7.14 runner, moves to the ball well and shows good hands, rotational thrower with limited arm strength and arm flexibility for the middle infield, can also play first base. Very good student.
