Austin Olivier is a 2014 2B with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from La Quinta, CA who attends La Quinta HS. Medium, wiry frame with solid present athleticism. Ran a 7.40 60 yard dash. Arm strength is still developing across the infield and needs to be more consistent with his actions. Bats right-handed, works from a straight up stance and is slightly open. Uses a toe tap trigger and produces line drives to the middle of the field. Has an idea of how to hit to the opposite field as well. Very good student.
