Cason Greathouse is a 2016 LHP with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Columbus, GA who attends Columbus HS. Named to Top Prospect list. Medium, young build with room to add strength. Pitches from a high three-quarter arm slot and shows a fluid, easy arm action. Reaches 79 mph with his fastball but has more velocity on the way. Has a highly advanced feel for pitching at a young age and depends heavily on a well above average curveball at 69 mph. It shows big depth and he has command of it, showing 11-5 shape. Also mixes in a solid changeup at 73 mph. Also shows left-handed power potential at the plate and squares the ball consistently. Ball jumps off his bat.
