Drew Cable is a 2016 RHP/OF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Cedar Park, TX who attends Vista Ridge. Medium, athletic build with a lean, projectable frame and room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.53 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, works from a three-quarter arm slot with a full, quick arm action in the back. High leg raise delivery, shows nice balance on his backside with extension at release, and projects for more velocity with more incorporation of his lower half. Fastball topped at 82 mph with arm side run and shows occasional sinking action. Nice potential with his changeup, shows running and sinking action to arm side and has a feel for an 11-5 curveball at 66 mph, fills up the strike one with all three pitches. Right-handed hitter, starts with an upright stance and his hands pulled back. Big leg lift to start swing, upper body swing, shows a patient approach, gets the barrel through the zone and squares up line drive contact to the middle of the field. Outstanding student.
