Ty Clayton is a 2014 RHP/2B, OF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Timberlake, NC who attends Person. Medium frame, thin athletic build. Pitches from a high three quarters arm slot, long arm action. Leans back at balance point causing him to work uphill early in delivery, good depth on curveball with 11-5 break. Should increase velocity with increased physical maturity, spins breaking ball well. High leg kick timing mechanism to swing, rotational swing, line drive swing plane, aggressive approach. Excellent student.
