Joseph Mills is a 2016 C/3B with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Marietta HS. Solid, sturdy build with good present strength. Looks the part behind the plate, comfortable receiving the ball. Good arm strength, ball carries to bases, online throws. Good footowork and an ability to explode out of crouch. Right handed hitter, starts with hands away, separated from body, shows some rotational elements in swing. When working with lower half shows good power and balls jump off of the bat, flashes ability to use entire field with line drives to opposite field gap. Performed well in game action with opposite field double, has good hands. Talented player on both sides of the ball. Named to Top Prospect Team. Very good student.
