Jackson Svete is a 2016 RHP/3B with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Blessed Trinity Catholic HS. Long, lean build. Plenty of room to project more muscle, strength onto long-limbs and tall frame. Primary right handed pitcher, has high leg lift above the belt, high frontside arm creates some deception. Energetic delivery, works to a high 3/4 arm slot, can clear early before release. Fastball had good downhill plane from the high armslot, topped out at 82 mph, offering showed sink and tailing life, was tough for right handed hitters to barrel up. Shows confidence and comfort, feel for quality low-70s changeup with good fade, plays well off of fastball with good armspeed. Also mixes in a loose curveball with some depth. Switch hitter at the plate, tall stance from right side, shows feel for barrel and repeatable mechanics, solid line drive contact to middle of field. Still developing feel from left side, open stance with rock into contact, shows some feel for barrel when timing is correct. Very good student.
