Brian Syphoe is a 2015 OF/RHP with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Lilburn, GA who attends Greater Atlanta Christian HS. Medium athletic build, beginnings of some present strength with more to come. Right handed hitter, simple balanced swing approach, repeats mechanics very well, quick hands to the ball, very good bat speed, consistent hard contact both in BP and games, has a bit of lift out front, gap power, ball comes off the barrel well, advanced hitter. 7.45, strong accurate arm with good footwork in the outfield, can improve running speed. Also pitched, over the top arm slot, online balanced delivery, fastball up to 83 mph, mostly straight with good downhill angle, 12/6 curveball has good spin and bite. Very good all around athlete, straight ahead running speed only area lacking along with additional strength. Good student. Named to the Top Prospect Team for this showcase.
