Tom Horstkotte is a 2014 RHP/2B with a 6-4 184 lb. frame from Milford, MA who attends St John`s. Very tall, athletic build. Projectable, long limbs. Ran a 7.76 60 yard dash. Right-handed thrower, works from a smooth delivery and throws over the top. Has a long arm action with minimal effort, does everything with easy. Fastball tops out at 84 mph with good life. More velocity coming down the road. Also mixes in an 11-5 curveball with depth and sweeping action. Mixes in a straight changeup with good differential at 73 mph. Really goes after hitters and knows how to pitch. Also swung the bat, gets good extension and produces line drives. Has some loft and power potential. Good student.
