Darryl Wilson is a 2015 OF with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Canton, OH who attends Canton South HS. Strong compact athletic build. 6.59 runner, plays faster in games due to quick first step and all out style of play, impacts game with speed. Left handed hitter, spread stance, quick hands to the ball, swings hard but stays short to the ball, looks to pull and will spin on inside pitches with pull power, handles the barrel well, will likely be susceptible to outside off speed for a while. Sound footwork and fundamentals in the outfield, long loose arm action, accurate throws with good arm strength. Classic leadoff/centerfield tools with an advanced ability to play the game.
