Edwin Stanberry is a 2014 C/3B with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Redmond, WA who attends Redmond HS. Stanberry has a medium-lean frame with room to fill out. As a catcher he had short arm action with good actions behind the plate and online carry with his throws. He had a quick transfer and release, accurate throws. As a right handed hitter he hit from a slightly open stance with a wide base and a good approach at the plate. Good swing mechanics with good balance at the plate and centered the ball up well. Excellent Student.
