Ryan Choate is a 2015 OF/RHP with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Dallas, TX who attends Bishop Lynch. Choate has a long lean athletic frame with room to fill out. Hits from an open stance and strides to close. Gets hands into a good spot, line drive swing plane with lift ins swing. Hands work well, shows good power potential. Started to drive ball with more consistency later during batting practice. Carried it over to games showing gap to gap power. Defensively, takes good routes and projects as a center fielder. Has easy arm action with easy velocity, more velocity in arm with minor adjustments with lower 1/2. Plus runner with 6.72. Outstanding Student. Named To Top Prospect List.
