Alex Britz is a 2015 SS/RHP with a 5-11 153 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Clear Lake HS. Young slender build, lots of room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, deep hand load, crouched stance and stays on his backside and hits up to the ball, loose swing with the beginnings of some bat speed, will need to level out his swing in the future. 7.24 runner, speed plays up on the bases and in the field due to high energy approach, has soft hands in the middle infield and a quick release, sound footwork and works through the ball well. Also pitched, high leg raise delivery, over the top arm slot, fastball topped out at 80 mph, big soft downer curveball. Has a nice approach to the game. Good student.
