Tyler Norton is a 5'9" 170 pound 2007 middle infielder and catcher from Henry County High School in McDonough, Georgia. He has a medium frame with good strength. Tyler has short compact actions and shows good quickness in the field and behind the plate. He has a solid arm which he showed by throwing 77 mph across the infield and 71 mph down to second base with a pop time of 2.08. He has good hands and feet which allows him to move well behind the plate. Norton hits with a slightly open stance. He tracks the ball ball deep and is short to the ball. He is a contact hitter who hits solid line drives to all fields. Tyler is also a good student with a 3.0 gpa.
