Bo Bower is a 2013 OF with a 6-2 207 lb. frame from Iowa City , IA who attends West Branch HS. Long lean athletic build, good present strength. Spread stance, doesn't get weight out to front foot consistently, makes up for it somewhat with raw strength but has a lot more power potential than he showed. Big leg kick trigger, rotational swing, leverage and effort in swing, strong at contact, aggressive swings with bat speed. Not much lower half in throwing motion, relies on raw arm strength, throws carry, accurate throws, quick release. Also up to 80 on the mound. Runs well, quick out of the box, rounds bases at sharp angle. Good student.
