Austin Jeter is a 2016 OF/ with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends The Lovett School. Medium-large frame with lean strength throughout, good overall physicality and athleticism. Ran very well, posting a 6.77 seconds 60 yard dash time. Hits from slightly open stance with balanced base, heavily rotational swing beginning with hips leaking open before swing starts. Quick foot up/foot down, extended hand path with quality hand speed. Shows ability to spray liners to all fields. Worked out defensively in the outfield, attacks the ball well with quality foot speed to the ball. Works through it well but slows at point of fielding, throws from higher three quarters slot with solid arm strength up to 79 MPH. Shows good one-hop accuracy to target with consistency. Good student.
