TS Reed is a 2007 middle infielder from Corona California with a smaller, lean build at 5' 4", 130 pounds. He hits from a narrow stance with still hands and a small load. He is short to the ball with a quick, compact stroke. He keeps his hands in and sprays line drives to all fields. He has a contact approach and doesn't do more than he's capable of. Reed has quick feet and gets in a good position to make plays with his hands out front. He has good arm action and a quick release. He has good range with a quick first step and very good instincts. He runs well and projects nicely. With added size and strength he will be a solid college infielder and top of the order type hitter. TS is a top student.
