2004 Underclass National Showcase
Thomas Dore -- Dore is an athletic junior outfielder from Chicago. He has nice broad shoulders that can add some strength and strong hips. Dore is a switch-hitter who showed us good bat speed and very good balance from the right side and hit some balls hard. He hits too closed from the left side and cuts himself off out front. Ignore Dore’s 60 time on the wet turf. He ran 4.13 down to first base and gets excellent jumps in the outfield. Dore’s arm strength is also impressive as he threw 85 mph in the workouts from the outfield. Thomas is a solid student who showed us the tools to be a top level college player. He might get some interest from pro scouts as well.
