Brett Schweitzer is a 2014 2B/RHP/3B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Dickinson, ND who attends Dickinson HS. Broad shouldered build, lots of room to add strength. Right handed hitter, long extended swing with wrapped start, tends to step out, pull approach, stays balanced and loose, power approach, swing is smooth and fluid, will need to shorten and add strength but sound overall mechanics. First base tools defensively unless foot quickness improves, best at third base at present, developing arm strength. Also pitched, long arm action with good looseness, sound pitching mechanics, good balance, will drift occasionally. Fastball to 77 mph, good running action at times, big soft curveball.
