Patrick Colavecchio is a 2012 OF/LHP with a 6-1 150 lb. frame from Colchester, CT who attends Xavier. Lean, wiry build with lots of room to add strength. Fluid runner who is smooth to the ball in the outfield with loose fielding actions. Long arm action with average arm strength and accurate throws. Online with some carry. Left-handed bat with a slight open stance and knee lift trigger. Line drive swing with solid contact skills. Gets hands to ball and has an idea at the plate. On the mound, has a slow tempo delivery with short arm action and minimal extension. Fastball consistently mid 70s, topping at 77. Off-speed pitch was looping curveball at 69 with 1/7 break. Good student.
