Blake Dowson is a 2013 MIF/3B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Indianola, IA who attends Indianola. Small athletic build, room to fill. Noisy plate approach, lots of pre-swing movement. Line drive swing plane, long in backside, fast rhythm, occasional late start causes barrel to drag through zone. Pullside tendency, some present bat speed, needs to polish swing. Needs to be more aggressive at the plate and in the infield, short arm action. Good student.
