Keenan Kelly is a 2012 RHP/3B with a 6-2 178 lb. frame from Niles, IL who attends Maine South. Long, lean player with lots of room to fill out and add strength. Pitches from 3/4 slot with drop and drive mechanics. Stays tall and throws on downhill plane. Repeats delivery with clean arm action and good balance. Fastball stays down in the zone and topped at 85. Curveball was thrown for strikes and had 10/4 break. Changeup is developing #3 pitch with potential. Raw fielding actions on the infield with long arm action with projectable arm strength. Right-handed hitter with simple mechanics and a line drive pull approach. Good contact skills and power potential. Very good student.
