Beaulieu is a 5 foot 8 right-hander who can also play second base. We think his best position is on the hill as he showed a nice natural pitching motion and an easy working arm. He threw strikes with 2 of his 3 pitches. The fastball was 70-71 mph and the curve was between 57-59 mph. He had a slow but big break on the curve and threw it a lot, with command. His change-up was thrown at 60-61 mph and comes out of his hand nice with good arm action, but he bounced it with possibly a tight grip, As he gets a better feel for the pitch it could end up being his best. It was good to see him go back to it and try to work it in. He knows how to pitch and compete.
