Chris Jones is a 2015 2B/SS, 3B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Sewell, NJ who attends Bishop Eustace Prep. Medium, athletic build with a strong, mature build. Ran a 7.02 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, light actions on feet, moves well to both sides, glove plays, quick release, short arm action with some strength across. Right-handed hitter, starts with a high hand set with a balanced approach. Gets hands through well, simple shift of weight through lower half, line drive swing plane, strength in swing with contact to all fields, ball jumps when squared, gets barrel through the zone, present strength with gap power and more to come with incorporation of lower half. Named to Sunshine Northeast Top Prospect List. Good student.
