Alex Fowler is a 2012 C/RHP with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Avondale Estates, GA who attends Decatur. Long, slender build with lots of room to fill. Moved feet well to block and showed feel for the position. Arm is strong behind the plate. Wide base at the plate, rotational swing, long to the ball. Get good leverage and extension. Will improve with additional strength. Short arm action on mound. 3/4 slot, short in back, throws on downhill plane. Good student.
