Jordan Crawford is a 2012 RHP/1B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Evanston, IL who attends Evanston Township HS. Strong live bodied type build. Step and throw delivery, tight 3/4's release point, compact arm action, occasionally drops release point a bit. Low 80's fastball, topped at 83 mph, good running action, keeps fastball low in zone well and gets ground balls. Consistent slider release and shape, good depth at times, not much velo separation on change up, mostly straight. Knows how to pitch and is effective. Outstanding student.
