Marquis Smith is a 2010 C/RHP with a 5-11 220 lb. frame from Detroit, MI. Strong solid build, good present strength. Aggressive hitting approach, has strength in swing, balanced, attacks the baseball, will improve with better balance and slight adjustments in hitting approach. Strong arm behind the plate, solid release and transfer, receives well. 3/4 arm slot on the mound, short compact arm action, good armside run on fastball, online delivery, fills up the stike zone, big 11-5 curveball with late break.
