Ryan Ricke: Ricke is a strong and physically mature young man with very good bat speed and power potential. He has a nice rock and load and approaches the ball like someone who wants to hit it hard every time, which will occasionally leave him a little anxious on the off speed pitches. Ricke definitely projects to hit with some power at the college level with metal in his hands, though. Defensively, Ricke has very good arm strength, hitting 89 mph from the outfield with good carry during workouts. His speed is his weakest tool and it would be a shame to waste his arm strength at first base, but his bat looks like it will play at about any position. He's very interesting.
