Aaron Sandefur is a 2012 RHP/3B with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Bellevue, WA who attends Newport. Big lean build. High 3/4 arm slot, slow smooth delivery, online finish with good extension out front. Poised on mound, low effort delivery. Fastball runs to glove side, up to mid 80s, changes speeds. Mixed pitches well, curveball showed good 11-5 break. Arm has some projection, good command of both pitches. Also impressed with the bat and showed improvement over the past year offensively. High hand set, toe tap trigger, smooth load. Line drive swing plane, good bat speed, uses opposite field well, good extension and balance, times well. Smooth hands defensively at 3B, arm plays. Very good student.
