Larren Artis is a 2011 1B with a 6-2 245 lb. frame from Amarillo, TX who attends Amarillo HS. Big extra strong build. Right handed hitter, upper half rotational swing, could use strong lower half more in swing, upright stance, strength in swing, ball comes off well on contact, needs more consistency in approach. Surprisingly agile around 1B, active high energy defender, soft hands. Good student.
