Joey Avioli is a 2014 OF/RHP with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Lexington, KY who attends Dunbar. Young player with a medium frame that projects to add strength as his body matures. Solid outfield actions with good feet and approach to the ball. His arm action is smooth and he projects to add more strength. Left-handed hitter with drop and drive swing mechanics. He coils in his load and does a good job of clearing his hips. He has raw bat speed and a line drive swing looking to pull the ball to the right side. Also, pitched at 74-76 in his stint. Throws from a 3/4 slot with long arm action. Stays balanced, fastball showed sink, and his curveball at 65 had 11/5 break. Excellent student.
