Matthew Sullivan is a 2014 RHP/C, 1B with a 6-4 180 lb. frame from Bristol, VA who attends John S. Battle. Has an extra large projectable with a solid athletic build. Throws downhill with an online delivery, has a good mound presence and works fast. Throws from an over the top arm slot, short arm action with good extension out front, attacks hitters with his fastball, mixing his curveball in well. His curveball has 12-6 break to it with good depth getting swings and misses with it, also flashes a changeup which he should mix in more. Has a high set up with throws that have online carry and are accurate and is a good receiver. Does a good job of going with the pitch at the plate with a level swing and has a high finish.
