2003 Northeast Top Prospect Showcase
Germane is an "04" LHP/OF who can really pitch. At 6'1/180 he is solid, looks strong and athletic. He showed good finesse along with a fastball up towards mid 80s. He competes on the hill. Changes speeds and throws a slow curveball with good spin. He will need to improve the velocity on his breaking ball, but that shouldn't be a problem. Looks like he slows his arm down when trying to throw it for a strike. He's going to throw harder and he has a great feel for pitching. Definitely someone to watch. He will pitch at the next level.
