Alex Rostis is a 2012 MIF with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Tyler, TX who attends Whitehouse HS. Lean athletic build, should add strength. 7.20 runner, athletic actions in the field, fluid and flashy at times, can speed up release, low release, looks comfortable at all infield positions, good range. Short swing, line drive approach, open wide stance, tends to get off balance in his swing, will have to improve contact ratio. Defense will carry him for now. Good student.
