Jack Collingsworth is a 2012 RHP/3B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Apple Valley, CA who attends Apple Valley Christian HS. Strong athletic build, fairly mature physically. On line delivery, hands away from his body, straight back, compact arm action, overhand release point, throws downhill. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, will cut fastball at times with good effectiveness, short soft curveball with low elbow release, also throws change up. Developing cut fastball into a true slider might benefit. Right handed hitter, rock load, back side hitter, strength lets him drive it to the gaps occasionally, needs to develop a positive weight shift. Very good student.
