Patrick Gunn is a 2006 catcher/third baseman from Trinity School in New York, New York, with a lean 5'9"/150 pound frame. Patrick has a good transfer on his 2.08 pop time with a quick release. He showed good blocking skills and good footwork. As a right handed hitter, he hits from a slightly crouched and balanced stance with a no stride approach at the plate. Gunn makes consistent contact and can drive the ball to the opposite field. He has very good bat speed and is a line drive hitter. Gunn is a solid student.
