Guerrero is a 6-0, 180 lb outfielder from Chicago with a good athletic build and some present athletic tools. He threw an impressive 85 mph from the outfield and also showed good accuracy on his throws that will result in throwing out some baserunners. Guerrero ran the 60 in 7.37 on the slow wet track and moved around the outfield well. Offensively, Guerrero hits out of a wide stance with no load or stride and a low hand set up. It’s an aluminum bat approach that causes him to reach for the ball if it’s anywhere but on the inside half of the plate. He could improve with better hitting mechanics as he appears to be a good athlete with some excellent strength. Guerrero is also a very good student. Pull power and athletic, needs to be followed.
