Nikolaus Schuttauf -- Schuttauf is a strong left handed hitting junior catcher from Massachusetts. He has a short, no load swing that looks like it’s patterned after New England native Jeff Bagwell and needs to work on maintaining his balance better through contact. He did make consistent contact during 2 of the games. Schuttauf is a one-handed receiver whose pop times in skills workouts could improve. His playability is very good. He is strong now, but still could tone up even more and be even better. Nikolaus is a very good student.
