Nathan Haras is a 2007 C/3B with a 6'1'', 175 lb. frame from Chicago, IL, who attends Walther Lutheran. Is a lean and athletic player with a projectable body. Behind the plate he has sure hands and receives well with confidence. Haras has good arm strength with a smooth transfer and quick feet. His quick feet also help him have excellent skills blocking balls in the dirt. Haras makes it look easy, and was one of the best defensive catchers at the event. At the plate he is a right handed hitter with quiet hands in his set-up. He has good bat speed through the hitting zone, but is very quick on the inside pitch. Haras stays very balanced throughout his swing keeping his head still as well. He makes solid contact to all fields and has the hands to make adjustments. Haras is a young catcher with very good upside, and he is an excellent student as well.
