Mitchell Lee is a 5'11" 150 pound 2007 second baseman and right handed pitcher from Henry County High School in McDonough, Georgia. He has a thin frame with wiry strength. Mitchell has good hands that are very quick in the field. At the plate, he has a no load approach that is very quiet. He stays inside the ball very well and is short to the ball. He has solid bat speed and a line drive swing plane that allows him to make consistent contact. He likes the ball down in the zone and really drives the ball when it is pitched there. Lee pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with an online delivery. He has good arm speed and late movement on his pitches. His fastball has good sink and run at 73 mph while his slider has good depth with tight 10/4 rotation at 61 mph. Mitchell is also a very good student with a 3.5 gpa.
