Mike has good defensive actions behind the plate and stays low and compact when receiving. He is a good receiver and has solid arm strength with some carry. At the plate, Mike starts with a wide base and a cool calm approach. He stays balanced through his swing has raw power. Mike has a short swing and uses hands well. He has bat speed and good power potential. Mike has some lift in his swing and has present gap to gap power. Mike has a solid tool set to improve upon as he gains experience. Mike is a solid prospect and is a very good student.
