Luke Lowery is a 2012 C/1B, OF with a 6-3 215 lb. frame from Midlothian, VA who attends Cosby HS. Large frame with lots of well proportioned strength. Compact actions behind the plate, good arm strength with accuracy, 1.84 best pop, will have to work on receiving and blocking abilities, also plays first base and corner outfield, 7.13 runner. Right handed hitter, wide stance with reverse stride, aggressive hard swing, has strength, pull approach, , ball jumps at times, needs adjustments to create extension. Good strength and raw tools, skills still developing. Good student, verbal commitment to East Carolina.
