Michael Suess is a 2005 left handed hitting outfielder from Hilton Head, SC, who appears bigger and stronger than his listed 6'0", 189 lb. size. He hits from a very good balanced approach at the plate with strong swing fundamentals and good extension out front. Suess made consistent solid contact to the middle of the field, but never seemed to be swinging very hard or trying to generate much bat speed to take advantage of his size and strength. Suess’s arm strength and running speed are playable for the corner outfield positions. He shows excellent baseball instincts and first step quickness. Michael is a good student as well.
