Davis Alderman is a 2011 OF/RHP with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Richland, WA who attends Southridge. Alderman is a very good athlete with a highly projectable build. Long, lean and athletic. Very athletic in the outfield, gets to the ball quickly, good footwork and has arm strength. Accurate throws to bases. Offensively, sets up with a straight stance, up in the front of the box, upright stance. Contact and line drive approach with a quick bat through the zone and shows strong hands and wrists to the ball. Solid contact to all fields. On the mound he has a highly projectable build. Compact mechanics and delivery, simple and repeatable with good balance. Shorter arm action that is tight to his body on the backside and has a quick arm from a 3/4 slot. Curveball for strikes. Has upside with potential as a two way player. Good student.
