Brig Gerlich is a 2011 OF/RHP/1B with a 6-4 225 lb. frame from La Vernia, TX who attends Seguin HS. Big strong athletic build. 7.38 runner, very good arm strength, footwork is balanced, accurate throws with proper carry, also plays first base. Right handed hitter, square stance, stays short for his size, very good bat speed, ball comes off the barrel hard, shows power to all fields, can use his lower half better to generate even more power. Also pitched, works from the stretch, loose clean arm action, low effort delivery, Fastball to 86 mph, will cut FB as a slider occasionally, threw strikes.
