Joey Rivas is a 2011 OF with a 5'11'', 180 lb. frame from West Des Moines, IA who attends Valley HS. Medium build, some present strength. Late hand hitch load, long stride, tends to pull off on swing, some lift in swing, good raw bat speed, ball comes off well, hits to all fields, will improve with better direction to ball. 7.58 runner, long arm action, throws tail. Good student.
